# How We Started

Our development journey

In 2022, our seasoned development team embarked on the journey to create The Cryptids Monster Mash amidst a booming era of Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming. Motivated by the desire to pioneer a new standard in blockchain gaming, we set out to craft the first cross-chain Battle Royale game that seamlessly blends fun and competitiveness with substantial rewards for players.
